Cherry Point Bay is a CMS 5-Star rated facility and currently has attained the Silver level award for quality from AHCA. We have four private rooms and thirty-three semi-private rooms. Semi-private rooms are set up for two residents.

Complimentary cable service is available in each room.

We encourage families to decorate the rooms to make our residents feel comfortable by being surrounded by familiar objects.

Lobby with Aviary

Cherry Point Bay has a comfortable lobby area where residents and families can visit, enjoy television, or watch the birds in the aviary.  When not in use at mealtimes, the dining areas and activity room are used for recreation. There are also two outdoor courtyards where resident’s can enjoy the outdoors while still being safe inside the facility.

Cherry Point Bay is a smoke free facility.

Dining Options

Cherry Point Bay has three dining areas which consist of the main dining room, a restorative dining room, and the activity room. Resident’s may eat in a different location based on the level of assistance they need with feeding, supervision, or they may eat independently. Residents may also choose to eat in their room. Food is prepared for each resident depending on their specific dietary needs, doctor’s orders, and their swallowing abilities. Food likes and dislikes are honored and alternate meals are available.

Activities

The Activities Department at Cherry Point Bay provides an assortment of group and individual activities designed to enhance their quality of life. Each resident is assessed for activity preferences. The resident council makes requests for additions or changes to the activities. There are activity calendars posted at various locations inside the facility. Please contact the Activity Director at any time if you would like to participate or volunteer to help us further develop this program.
